Capitol Medical Center Colleges, Inc. was established as part of the tradition of excellence and service under the helm of the leadership of its  late Founder, Dr. THELMA NAVARRETE-CLEMENTE (1931-2016).

T

L

M

A

Alay n'ya sa Panginoon at muling ibinabalik

Sa mapagpalang Maykapal ang biyayang nakakamit,

Pagiging twina'y sagana kanyang ipinagkakait

Ang sarili kapag hungkag, grasya'y makalalapit.

Capitol Medical Center as Homebase Hospital of CMCCI

Ten years later, CMCC proved its commitment to excellence upon achieving a 100% Passing Rate in the Board Examinations in Nursing. Unfortunately, unavoidable circumstances led to a critical decision whereby the school closed in 1987 to pave the way for the expansion of the hospital – Capitol Medical Center.

However, the tradition of excellence and service never faded in the hearts and minds of the pillars of CMCC. Thus, the Capitol Medical Center Colleges, Inc. (CMCCI) was incorporated in February 2004 and started its operation in June 2004 upon securing the CHED permit to open the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Dr. Thelma Navarrete-Clemente is the Founding Chairman of the Board of Directors. CMCCI re-opened in a new location at No. 4 Sto. Domingo Avenue, Quezon City. Surely a bold move to answer the call of the times in producing quality graduates who can render tender loving care globally.

The base hospital of the college is CAPITOL MEDICAL CENTER, INC. (CMC), located at Quezon Avenue, cor. Scout Magbanua Street, Quezon City. This is one of the leaders in providing the best in health care delivery. A private tertiary hospital with 300 bed capacity and the state-of-the-art facilities, with highly skilled medical and non-medical hospital personnel. CMC is accredited by the Department of Health (DOH), Philippine Health Insurance Commission (PHIC), Association of the Philippine Medical Colleges (ADMC), the four major specialty societies such as PCS, PCF, PPS, POGS, and other specialty societies as a tertiary teaching and training hospital. CMCC is accredited by the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (BID). Significantly, in 2018 CMC partnered with Mount Grace Hospitals, a subsidiary of UNILAB Philippines.

Currently, Capitol Medical Center Colleges is offering other baccalaureate programs namely: Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology. Keeping up with the high standard of Capitol Medical Center, the college has produced quality graduates who do not only pass the Licensure Examinations administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) but made it to the Top. The BSN graduates had board topnotchers since 2007 with its first batch of graduates with a 9 th placer in 2008. With the BSMT program, the first batch of graduates attained an 88% passing average last March 2014. On the other hand, the BSRT program ‘s first graduate ranked No. 6 in the Top Ten in the PRC Licensure last December 2013.
